Procurement of TG Sets for Hydel Stations in Gilgit Baltistan

The Gilgit-Baltistan Hydro Electric Workshop under the Water and Power Department Gilgit invites sealed bids for the procurement of TG Sets for Hydel Stations in Gilgit Baltistan. This tender is for the supply, installation, and commissioning of High Head Pelton Turbine Runner and Jet Nozzles for 18 MW HEPS Malter PH-IV. Items being procured: - Supply, Installation & Commissioning of High Head Pelton Turbine Runner and Jet Nozzles for 18 MW HEPS Malter PH-IV The project requires bidders registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council under the appropriate category with the specified code ME-07 (C.F.Y). Bidders must be enlisted with the Water & Power Department GB for C.F.Y and possess ISO-9001 certification. The manufacturer must have Tier-II or above PEC registration and authorization certificates. Experience of at least 10 years in TG set production with documented expertise is mandatory. Bidders must have successfully executed at least two similar projects with a minimum capacity of 02 MW in Pakistan. Completion certificates from regional offices must be submitted. Financial capability is demonstrated by a bank credit line certificate of PKR 50 million and bank statements showing a minimum transaction of PKR 50 million over the last six months. No blacklisting or litigation certificates from the notary public are required. Completion period is 06 months after issuance of the commencement order. Bidding documents can be purchased from the office of the Executive Engineer W&P Department GBHEW Gilgit upon payment of PKR 12,000 (non-refundable). Bids must be submitted by 15-09-2026 at 11:00 AM and will be opened the same day at 11:45 AM in the office of the Superintendent Engineer W&P Circle Gilgit. The employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids with valid reasons. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical and financial bids ensuring all mandatory conditions and documentation are met. Timely submission and compliance with PEC and departmental requirements will be critical for successful participation.
