Procurement of Transmission Line Conductor for 220kV Transmission Lines Associated with 500/220kV Sialkot & 220kV Arifwala Substations

The National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC) invites bids for the procurement of Transmission Line Conductor for 220kV Transmission Lines associated with 500/220kV Sialkot and 220kV Arifwala Substations in Lahore. This procurement is funded by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) Loan and aims to enhance the transmission infrastructure. Items being procured: - ACSR Rail Conductor, Quantity: 448 km The scope includes supply of high-quality transmission line conductors suitable for 220kV lines, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and standards. The delivery period is 150 days for CIP Karachi or EXW Pakistan from the date of contract signing. Eligible bidders must have at least 5 years of manufacturing experience of similar goods with comparable or higher rating and capacity. Additionally, manufacturers must have experience of at least two contracts supplying similar goods either outside the country of origin or within Pakistan during the last 10 years. The goods should have been in satisfactory operation for at least 3 years on the date of bid opening. Non-manufacturer bidders must provide authorization from the manufacturer to submit bids. The pre-bid meeting will be held on 20th October 2026 at 10:00 AM at the office of Director General (Procurement) NGC, 8th Floor, Shaheen Complex, Egerton Road, Lahore. Bids must be delivered by 11:00 AM on 27th November 2026 and will be opened publicly at 11:30 AM the same day at the same office.
