Procurement of Miscellaneous Hardware Items, Panel & Distribution Boards, Fire Hose, and Plasma Machine Parts for Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited

Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KS&EW) invites sealed tenders for the procurement of various goods on free delivery basis at KS&EW, Karachi. The hardware items require brand new and genuine materials with a supplier warranty of 12 months in addition to OEM warranty. Delivery periods vary: 20 days for hardware items, 15 days for panels and plasma parts, and 7 days for fire hoses after issuance of purchase orders. Factory visits and acceptance tests are required for panel boards. Fire hoses must meet BS6391 UL-19 BSI KTEMARK certification and originate from Spain or equivalent. Plasma machine parts must be original with authorized dealer certificates. Bidders must attach earnest money in the form of a Pay Order: Rs.100,000 for hardware items and fire hoses, Rs.200,000 for panels and plasma parts. Security deposit of 5% of ordered value is required within 7 days after offer acceptance. Tenders must be valid for at least 60 days from commercial/financial opening. Integrity Pact is mandatory for contracts exceeding Rs.10 million. Tenders must be submitted on the prescribed proforma only, sealed and super scribed with the respective tender number.
