Procurement of Ultra Low Temperature Freezer (-80 Degree) for BUCAHS Department at Bahria University Health Sciences Campus Karachi

The Bahria University Health Sciences Campus, Karachi (Bahria University) invites sealed bids for the procurement of an Ultra Low Temperature Freezer (-80 Degree) specifically for the BUCAHS Department at their Karachi campus. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the National Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure using the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Items being procured: - Ultra Low Temperature Freezer (-80 Degree) with a capacity of 728 L, temperature range from -40°C to -86°C, microprocessor temperature controller, 3 adjustable shelves, 18 (5×4) + 6 (6×4) racks, LCD touch display, dual compressors, manual defrost, HC refrigerant (CFC free), VIP Plus PURF insulation, automatic cascade refrigeration system, 220 V 50/60 Hz power supply, power consumption of 935 W, stainless steel internal material, electro-galvanized steel external material with antimicrobial powder coating, noise level 53 dB, weight 380–400 kg, temperature accuracy 0.1°C, ambient operating range 10–32°C, 2 × 25-mm access/test ports, multiple alarms including power failure and door-open, 72-hour power-failure alarm backup, USB data-download facility, remote alarm contacts, capacity for 504 × 2-inch boxes or 50,400 × 2-mL samples, and a 2-year warranty. The freezer must be delivered and installed at Bahria University Health Sciences Campus Karachi, Sailor Street, Adjacent PNS Shifa DHA Phase - II, Karachi. The delivery and installation timeframe must not exceed 60 days from the contract award. The supplier warranty shall remain valid for 2 years after supply, installation, and acceptance. The procurement requires bidders to be active taxpayers with valid GST, SST (where applicable), and NTN registrations.
