Tender Description
The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) Karachi is procuring wall-mounted split air conditioner units specifically for the Anteena Assembly MSSR/EVHF Station located in Pasni, Balochistan. This procurement is managed by the Logistics Center (South) at PAA Headquarters, Karachi. The tender reference number is HQPAA/1984/386/XXLA. The scope includes supply, delivery, inspection, testing, and transportation of the AC units to the MSSR/EVHF Station Pasni. The units must be 2 TR (24,000 BTU) capacity, T3-rated DC inverter type with low-voltage operation, compliant with NEECA SRO 413(I)/2024 energy labelling requirements. Each unit should come with an OEM installation kit, remote controller, original manuals, and warranty card. The successful bidder will deliver the items to the Logistics Centre South for inspection and testing, after which the items will be transported to the final installation site at Pasni at no additional risk or cost to PAA.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered on the PPRA EPADS portal, hold valid NTN and GST registration, and appear on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of FBR with 100% compliance. OEM or manufacturer authorization certificates are mandatory. Joint ventures or consortiums are not allowed. Bidders must submit original bid security with the technical proposal and a copy with the financial proposal. The bid validity period is 120 days from the technical bid opening date.
The closing date for bid submission is **2026-07-02 11:00:00**, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day at the Logistics Center (South), HQ Pakistan Airports Authority, JIAP Karachi. Bids must be submitted electronically via the PPRA EPADS portal and physically in sealed envelopes to the specified address. Late or incomplete submissions will be rejected.
A practical tip for bidders is to submit proposals well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical glitches on the EPADS portal. Ensure all required documents, including bid security, NTN, GST certificates, and technical brochures, are complete and attached to avoid disqualification. The performance bond of 10% of the contract value will be required upon award, and warranty coverage is for five years from receipt or installation.
This tender offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers specializing in HVAC equipment to engage with a reputable government authority and contribute to critical infrastructure in Balochistan.
