Tender Description
The School Education & Literacy Department through its Project Management & Implementation Unit (PMIU) SERP-II, Government of Sindh, invites sealed bids for the provision of additional facilities and renovation of existing Model High / Higher Secondary Schools in District Larkana. This tender specifically covers rehabilitation works at GBHSS Kishanchand Bewas Pilot Higher Secondary School and GBHSS Naudero, including civil, plumbing, and electrification works.
The technical scope includes extensive civil works such as excavation, dismantling, plastering, flooring with glazed tiles and marble, reinforced concrete works, and finishing. Plumbing works involve installation of lead connections, nylon connections, sanitary fittings, UPVC piping, and water tanks. Electrical works cover wiring for lighting, plug points, installation of solar power systems including solar panels, inverters, batteries, and associated wiring.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-5 or above with specialization codes EE04, CE09, and CE10. Valid electrical license from Government of Sindh for the concerned region is mandatory. Bidders must be active on the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Active Taxpayer List (ATL) or Sindh Revenue Board (SRB). Experience of similar works with satisfactory completion certificates and financial soundness with minimum annual turnover equivalent to the project cost are required.
The tender follows a Single Stage Two Envelope bidding procedure under Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (amended). Earnest Money (Bid Security) of PKR 2,820,000 is required. The bid validity period is 90 days. Technical bids will be opened on 25th May 2026 at 4:00 PM at the office of the Project Director, PMIU SERP-II/SID, Karachi. Bids must be submitted electronically via the SPPRA portal by 3:30 PM on the same day.
