Tender Description
The School Education & Literacy Department through its Project Management & Implementation Unit (PMIU) SERP-II Sindh invites bids for the provision of additional facilities and renovation of existing Model High and Higher Secondary Schools in District Umerkot. This tender covers civil, plumbing, and electrical works including construction, repairs, and installation of facilities at multiple schools such as GBHS Umerkot No.2, GBHSS Fazal E Umer, GBHSS Shadi Palli, GGHSS Samaro Town, GBHSS Umerkot No.1, and GGHS Ghazali.
The technical scope includes comprehensive civil works like excavation, dismantling, plastering, flooring with glazed tiles and marble, brickwork, painting, and waterproofing. Plumbing works involve installation of lead connections, nylon connections, sanitary fittings, UPVC piping, and water tanks. Electrical works cover wiring for lighting, fans, plug points, installation of solar power systems including solar panels, inverters, batteries, and associated wiring.
Eligible bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-4 or above with relevant specialization codes, possess valid electrical licenses for the concerned region, and be active on the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Active Taxpayer List (ATL). Experience of similar works with satisfactory completion certificates and financial soundness with minimum annual turnover matching the project cost are mandatory. Bidders should submit technical and financial proposals under the single stage two envelope procedure.
The tender fee and earnest money deposit (EMD) are required as per SPPRA rules. The bid submission deadline is 25th May 2026 at 03:30 PM at the office of the Project Director, PMIU SERP-II Sindh, Karachi. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 04:00 PM in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
