Provision of 16 Security Guards for NHA Regional Office Sindh-South Karachi and Attached Offices

The National Highway Authority (NHA) Sindh-South Region invites bids for the provision of 16 security guards for its Regional Office in Karachi and attached offices including NHA Rest House Karachi, NHA Complex Jamshoro, NHA Complex Mirpurkhas, and NHA Laboratory at Hatri Police Station Hyderabad. This contract is for a period of two years with a possible extension of one year based on mutual consent. The security guards are preferably ex-service armed personnel, and the monthly wages are fixed at Rs. 40,700 per guard with a 10% annual increase based on satisfactory performance. Interested companies must have valid NTN/GST registration and relevant experience in security services. They must also possess a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Interior and Home Departments of all provinces including Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Blacklisted companies or those terminated by NHA for poor performance are not eligible. The procurement follows a Single Stage-Two Envelopes procedure requiring separate technical and financial bids. Bidding documents can be purchased upon submission of a return application and payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,000 via bank draft in favor of National Highway Authority Karachi. Technical bids must be accompanied by a security deposit of Rs. 75,000 through pay order. Bids must be sealed, signed, and submitted by 1200 hours on July 20, 2026, at the NHA office in Karachi. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 1230 hours, and financial bids of technically qualified bidders will be opened later. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all documentary evidence including proof of monthly payments for insurance, EOBI, and SESSI is meticulously maintained and submitted to avoid forfeiture of the security deposit.
