Rate Contract for Maintenance and Repair to Chotiari Dam and Operation & Maintenance Works for Financial Year 2026-27

The Executive Engineer Chotiari Reservoir (I) Division Sanghar invites bids for a Rate Contract for Maintenance and Repair (M&R) to Chotiari Dam, Operation & Maintenance, Emergent work, and Contingent Works for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is specifically for the Sanghar region in Sindh province under the Sindh Irrigation Department. Items being procured: - Recouping of Banks - Repair of Stone Studs - Strengthening of Banks RD-0 to 72 Ranto Canal - Re-Sectioning works - D-Silting of Ranto Canal - Repair of Single and Double Groyness RD-15 to 30 - Maintenance and emergent works at Akanwari Pumping Station - Repair and maintenance of Government Vehicles including Datsun Pickup - Repair and maintenance of Outlet Regulator along Chotiari Reservoir - Repair and maintenance of Aujo Escape Regulator The technical scope covers civil works related to canal banks, pumping stations, and dam operation & maintenance. It also includes mechanical and vehicle repair services essential for the upkeep of government assets. The contract is a rate contract, allowing works and services to be availed and charged as and when required within the fiscal year 2026-27. Eligibility criteria include compliance with PEC categories relevant to civil and mechanical works, valid FBR/ATL registration, and proven experience in similar government contracts. Bidders must submit a bid security of Rs. 1,000,000/- and ensure their bids remain valid for 90 days. The bid price must be quoted on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis. The deadline for bid submission is 13-08-2026 at 12:00 PM, with bid opening scheduled for 13-08-2026 at 12:30 PM. In case of no response, a second attempt will be held on 19-08-2026 at 12:00 PM with opening at 12:30 PM.
