Rehabilitation and Electrical Works for Eight Primary/Elementary Schools in Shikarpur District

The Education Works (E) Division Larkano invites bids for the rehabilitation, construction, and re-construction of eight existing Primary and Elementary schools located in District Shikarpur under the 2026-27 ADP scheme. The schools included in this project are GGLSS Wazirabad, GBPS Andal Mahar, GBPS Soomar Goth, GBPS Mehmood Shaikh, GBPS Nawab Pirzado, GBPS Khuda Bux Deenari, GBPS Angan Goth, and GBPS Nangar Shar at Hussain Bux Rajar. Additionally, electrification work is included at GBPS Mehmood Shaikh in Taluka Lakhi. Items being procured: - Wiring for light or fan points (30 points) - Wiring for plug points (8 points) - Providing and laying PVC insulated copper conductors in conduits (221 and 55 running feet) - Providing and laying PVC sheeted two core copper conductor 10mm2 (90 running feet) - Fixing Bakelite ceiling roses (12 units) - Fixing brass battern holders (12 units) - Fixing circuit breakers SP and DP (6 and 1 units respectively) - Fixing one way SP switches (30 units) - Fixing two pin and three pin plug & sockets (8 and 1 units) - Fixing 56" electric ceiling fans (12 units) - Fixing ammeters and voltmeters (1 unit each) - Providing and fixing earthing set with excavation (1 unit) - Circuit breaker panel board plastic made (1 unit) - Wall/ceiling mounted fancy lights (10 units) - LED fancy bulbs 20-32 watts (20 units) - Mild steel bar fan clamps (12 units) The scope covers electrical wiring, installation of fixtures, and earthing works at the specified schools. The contract duration is 15 months from the written order to commence. The estimated cost is Rs. 631,000 with a bid security of Rs. 31,550 (5%). Bidders must have valid NTN, Sindh Revenue Board and FBR registration, and experience in similar works within the last five years. PEC registration and compliance with tax deductions as per government rules are mandatory. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Office of the Executive Engineer, Education Works Electrical Division Larkano, located near High Court Building, CMC Road, Larkano. The bid opening date and time will be as notified in the NIT. The bid validity period is 90 days. Performance security of 5% of the bid amount will be required from the successful bidder. A practical tip for bidders: Carefully review the Bill of Quantities and ensure all rates are quoted clearly in figures and words with proper initials on corrections to avoid disqualification. Early submission is advised to avoid rejection of late bids.
