Rehabilitation of Hillstate Stairs and Repair/Maintenance of Culverts in Peerabad Colony and Orangi Town, Karachi

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) invites bids for multiple works involving the rehabilitation of Hillstate stairs in various locations within Peerabad Colony, TMC Mominabad Town, District West Karachi, and repair/maintenance of culverts in UC-07 Orangi Town, District West Karachi. These projects are based on the standard bidding documents of SPPRA and aim to improve infrastructure and public safety in these urban localities. Items being procured: - Rehabilitation of Hillstate Stairs in Gali # 15 to 18, Ward 04, UC-08 Peerabad Colony - Rehabilitation of Hillstate Stairs in Gali # 16 to 17, Ward 03, UC-08 Peerabad Colony - Rehabilitation of Hillstate Stairs in Gali # 18 to 20, Ward 02, UC-08 Peerabad Colony - Rehabilitation of Hillstate Stairs in Gali # 20 to 22, Ward 01, UC-08 Peerabad Colony - Repair / Maintenance of Culvert Top Slab in different places of UC-07 Orangi Town - Repair / Maintenance of Culvert in different locations of UC-07 Orangi Town The technical scope includes dismantling cement concrete, excavation, cement concrete plain works, erection and removal of centering, cartage of materials, reinforcement cement concrete work, stone pitching, desilting and cleaning of storm water drains, and laying stone soling. The works require skilled labor, materials, and equipment as per specifications and drawings provided by the Engineer-in-charge. Completion time for each work is 90 days with a penalty of Rs. 3000 per day for delay. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have valid NTN, PEC registration where applicable, and to submit bid security as specified.
