Tender Description
This tender is issued by the **Irrigation Department Government of Sindh** through the Executive Engineer Mirpur Division (Irrigation) at Mirpur Mathelo for the city of **Ghotki**. The project involves the rehabilitation and improvement of earthwork and strengthening the banks of Bumbly Minor from RD.89 to 150 on the Ghotki Feeder. The existing canal section from RD-80 to RD-153 has deteriorated, causing reduced bed capacity and silt deposits, which affect irrigation supply to the command area. The works aim to restore the canal's designed capacity and improve water conveyance efficiency.

- RCC work including fabrication of mild steel reinforcement (3,104 Cft and 152.441 Cwt)
- Hire charges of pumping set (8 days and 56 hours)
- Paca brick work in cement sand mortar (2,652 Cft)
- Cement plaster 1:4 up to 12 ft height (918 Sft)
The technical scope includes earthworks, compaction, excavation, concrete and brickwork, steel reinforcement fabrication, and pumping operations. The site is located in Ghotki, Sindh, and the project is funded by the Government of Sindh under ADP Scheme No. 1207 for FY 2026-2027.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in categories CE04, CE09 & CE10, have active NTN and Sindh Revenue Board registration, and demonstrate relevant experience with at least one similar work of 80% estimated cost or two works of 50% estimated cost completed in the last five years. Valid ISO-45001 certification, professional tax certificate, and financial capability with a minimum available balance of 10% of estimated cost are mandatory. Bid security of 5% of bid cost is required in the form of bank guarantee or pay order.
The bid submission deadline is **12:00 Noon on 10.09.2026 (Thursday)** at the Office of the Executive Engineer Mirpur Division (Irrigation), Mirpur Mathelo. Technical bids will be opened publicly on the same day at 1:00 PM. Bidders must submit bids electronically via ePADs portal as per instructions. Performance security of 5% of contract price is required within 28 days of Letter of Acceptance. Stamp duty of 0.35% of bid cost will be borne by the successful bidder.
