Tender Description
The Irrigation Department, Government of Sindh, through the Executive Engineer Mirpur Division (Irrigation) at Mirpur Mathelo, invites bids for the Rehabilitation of Lower Dahar Wah canal under ADP Scheme No. 1205 for the fiscal year 2026-27. This project involves extensive civil works aimed at restoring the canal's designed carrying capacity by re-sectioning and removal of silt deposits from RD-0 to RD-55, ensuring efficient water conveyance to the command area and off-taking channels. The scope includes earth excavation, re-handling, construction of road bridges at RD-13 and RD-46, masonry, cement concrete works, steel reinforcement fabrication, pumping operations, plastering, painting, paving, and ancillary works including construction of an annex for the Xen residence at Mirpur Mathelo headquarters.

- Earth work excavation 8,708,625 Cft
- Re-handling of earth work 4,354,313 Cft
- Construction of road bridge at RD-13 and RD-46 including dismantling, excavation, cement concrete, RCC, steel reinforcement
- Full hire charges of pumping sets and operation hours
- Paca brick work, cement plaster, barrow pit excavation, dressing and leveling
- Carriage of earth and materials by trucks
- Construction of annex including excavation, cement concrete, RCC, steel reinforcement, brick work, plastering, painting, paving blocks, doors, windows, iron grills, and step tiles
The technical scope requires compliance with PEC registration in categories CE04, CE09 & CE10, valid tax registrations, ISO-45001 certification, and demonstrated experience with similar works. Bidders must submit a technical proposal detailing construction methodology, equipment, and schedule. Bid security of 5% of bid cost is mandatory in the form of bank guarantee. Performance security of 5% of contract price is required upon award. The contract duration extends to June 2027 with a defects liability period of 185 days.
Bids must be submitted electronically via the e-PADs portal by 12:00 Noon on 10th September 2026. Technical bids will be publicly opened at 1:00 PM the same day at the Office of the Executive Engineer Mirpur Division (Irrigation), Mirpur Mathelo. Interested bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents and visit the site to assess conditions. One bid per bidder is allowed. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
