The procurement process requires contractors to be registered with PEC for the financial year 2026-27 in the relevant category and to submit their bids online through the Punjab e-Procurement System. A 5% bid security of the estimated cost must be deposited electronically via the system; no physical CDRs will be accepted. The bid security and technical bids must comply with PPRA rules. The contractor must quote rates on an item rate basis against each item of the BOQ before 12:00 PM on 09/10/2026. The bid opening will be held at 01:00 PM the same day in the office of the District Council Bahawalnagar (I&S) Branch.
Eligibility criteria include valid PEC license for 2026-27, FBR/ATL registration, and compliance with PPRA rules including furnishing a 10% performance guarantee. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance guarantee as per PPRA Rule-56.
Bidders are advised to carefully review the BOQ and ensure their quoted rates are accurate and not arithmetically incorrect to avoid disqualification. Manual bids will not be accepted. The tender documents and detailed requirements are available on the Punjab e-Procurement website. The advertisement was uploaded on 23-09-2026.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your PEC license and bid security are properly uploaded and your rates are quoted strictly as per the BOQ items to avoid rejection due to non-responsiveness or technical errors. Early registration on the e-Procurement portal and watching the official instructional videos can help streamline your submission process.
