Tender Description
The Embassy of Pakistan is procuring comprehensive repair and maintenance services for its Chancery Building. This tender covers essential works including rooftop repairs, painting of roof tiles (quarmoods), and internal repair and painting of walls and ceilings. The scope involves inspection and treatment of leakages, cracks, damaged waterproofing, and drainage outlets on the rooftop. Contractors are required to remove damaged concrete and plaster, apply waterproof sealing, and ensure the use of high-quality, weather-resistant paint for exterior surfaces. Internal works include repairing damaged plaster, repainting corridors, offices, lounges, stairways, and washrooms affected by moisture and seepage.
The site is located at the Embassy premises, and interested firms must conduct a mandatory site visit to verify the actual conditions and measurements before submitting bids. The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, tools, scaffolding, transportation, and safety equipment. Work must be carried out with minimal disruption to the Embassy's normal functioning and completed within the stipulated contract period. Waste removal and cleaning after completion are mandatory, with final inspection by the Embassy's designated committee.
Eligible bidders should have relevant PEC registration and valid FBR/ATL status, demonstrating experience in similar repair and maintenance projects. Earnest Money and CDR requirements will be detailed in the bidding documents. The submission deadline and address will be provided in the tender documents. Bidders are advised to carefully review the site conditions during the visit to prepare accurate technical and financial bids. A practical tip is to document all site observations during the visit, as this will help avoid underestimation of quantities and ensure compliance with the technical bid requirements.
