Repair and Maintenance of Computer Hardware, Network Equipment and Security Services

The Federal Tax Ombudsman Secretariat Islamabad is procuring comprehensive repair and maintenance services for computer hardware, network infrastructure, and security systems. This tender covers the supply and installation of a dedicated 40Mbps fibre backup internet link, inter-connection of two server rooms using armored fiber optic cables with splicing and installation, and upgrading network interfaces with PCIe risers and 10G SFP+ modules. The scope also includes removal of drop ceilings for secure cabling, installation of a 42U server rack with vertical riser and exhaust duct, professional labeling, closed metal trunking, and ultrasonic repellent devices to ensure network integrity and security. Additionally, renewal of Fortinet 60F firewall license for three years and procurement of SSL certificates from reputed authorities are included. Eligible bidders must be GST and NTN registered firms with relevant experience and capabilities. Only suppliers on the FBR Active Taxpayers List (ATL) are eligible. Firms must provide proof of GST registration, NTN, and a certificate confirming no blacklisting by any government department. Earnest money of 2% of the quoted tender value in the form of a call deposit is mandatory. Warranty for at least one year on repair and maintenance services is required, including free replacement of parts if necessary. The tender document is available on the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS) Version 2.0. Bidders must upload their tenders through EPADS by 19 May 2026 at 09:30 hours. Technical and financial bids will be opened the same day at 11:00 hours in the presence of bidders at the FTO Secretariat HQ Islamabad. Late or incomplete submissions will not be entertained.
