Repair and Maintenance of Genebank Cooling Units at PGRI, National Agricultural Research Centre Islamabad

The National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC) Islamabad invites sealed tenders on item rate basis from reputed firms having at least three years' experience in relevant works and registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-6 or above, along with valid Income Tax and Sales Tax registration. The tender is for the repair and maintenance of Genebank Cooling Units at the Plant Genetic Resources Institute (PGRI), National Agricultural Research Centre, Park Road, Islamabad. Items being procured: - Repair and maintenance of Genebank Cooling Units at PGRI, NARC Islamabad The scope includes all labor, materials, scaffolding, tools, plant, and applicable taxes as per the tender documents. Bidders must quote for the complete scope; partial bids will be rejected. The work site is at NARC, Park Road, Islamabad. Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered with PEC Category C-6 or above, have no litigation or blacklisting history, and be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax departments. Earnest money of 3% of the bid cost is required in the form of Pay Order or Bank Draft in favor of NARC Islamabad. The procurement method is Single Stage-Single Envelope under open competitive bidding. Bidders must register on the e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS) portal and submit bids electronically through EPADS. A hard copy of the sealed bidding document along with the bid security must be submitted physically to the office of the Director Work, NARC Park Road, Chakshahzad, Islamabad by the closing date. The deadline for submission is October 05, 2026, by 1100 hours. Bids will be opened the same day at 1130 hours in the presence of bidders or their representatives at the Director Work office. The contract completion period is 30 days from the date of commencement, with a maintenance period of 12 months. Liquidated damages of Rs. 1200 per day will be imposed for delays up to 5% of the contract value. Retention money of 10% will be held and released after satisfactory maintenance completion.
