Repair and Restoration of 2 Nos. 200kVA Transformers at SSR/EVHF Lakpass Station Quetta

Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) invites eligible contractors licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with minimum category C-6 and specialization EE-04 to submit bids for the repair and restoration of two 200kVA transformers installed at SSR/EVHF Lakpass Station, Quetta. The scope includes dismantling the transformers, transporting them to a workshop for repair, rewinding, servicing, and reinstallation. Items involved in the works are: - Dismantling and replacement of damaged LT ceramic insulators (4 jobs) - Dismantling and replacement of damaged HT ceramic insulators (4 jobs) - Repair of perforated transformer body/tank including welding, patching, leak testing (2 jobs) - Replacement of gaskets, general servicing, cleaning, epoxy waterproofing (2 jobs) - Providing and filling transformer oil including dehydration and moisture testing (590 liters) - Dismantling, loading, unloading, and transportation of transformers to and from workshop (2 jobs) The works must be carried out as per manufacturer recommendations and under the supervision of the Engineer In-charge. Bidders must provide original bid security of PKR 16,000/- and submit bids electronically via the EPADS portal before the closing date. Physical submission of bid security in sealed envelope is mandatory before bid opening. Bidders should ensure all bidding documents are signed and stamped on each page. Technical evaluation will be based on documentary evidence including PEC license, NTN, ATL, affidavit of no blacklisting, and other requirements. The contract duration is 45 days from the date of written order to commence work. This tender is a single stage one envelope procurement conducted under PPRA rules and e-Pak Procurement Regulations 2023.
