Tender Description
This tender invites qualified firms in Karachi to provide comprehensive repair and maintenance services for Pakistan Television Corporation Limited. The scope covers official vehicles including Suzuki, Toyota, Honda, and Super Power motorcycles, IT hardware and software such as computers, laptops, printers, and servers, as well as plant and machinery including photocopiers, UPS, air conditioners, and water dispensers. Additionally, maintenance of furniture, fixtures, office buildings, PABX systems, and procurement of common use items like printing services, mineral water, gardening, safety equipment, and housekeeping materials is required. The services are to be delivered at the Television Centre and Central Sales Office in Karachi during the financial year 2025-26.
The work demands technical expertise in vehicle mechanics, IT equipment servicing, and facility maintenance within Karachi's urban environment. Firms must ensure quality repairs and timely supply of items, adhering to the technical specifications and delivery schedules. The contract includes a framework agreement with provisions for prompt response to work orders and compliance with government procurement rules. The technical evaluation will consider firm experience, human resources, financial status, and public sector references.
Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue, hold valid National Tax and Sales Tax numbers, and be on the Active Taxpayers List. PEC registration and compliance with PPRA Rules 2004 are mandatory. Bid security of PKR 1,000,000 in the form of bank draft or pay order is required. The contract duration is from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026. Firms should prepare bids inclusive of all applicable taxes and duties, with prices fixed for the contract period.
Submission deadline is on 2 February 2026 at 14:00 hours via the e-Pak Acquisition System (e-PADS). Bid opening will occur the same day at 15:00 hours in the Conference Room of the Television Centre Karachi. Bidders must submit bids in English, sealed and marked as per instructions. Physical verification of offices and technical capability assessment will be conducted by the PTV technical committee.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid includes the non-refundable bidding document fee of PKR 5,000 and the bid security as specified. Missing these will disqualify your submission. Also, carefully review the technical specifications and eligibility criteria to avoid common pitfalls during evaluation.
