Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the procurement of furniture, plant machinery, and hardware equipment for the Culture, Tourism, Antiquities & Archives Department in Karachi, Sindh. The Planning, Development, Monitoring & Implementation Cell requires these goods to support various cultural and archival projects across Sindh for the financial year 2025-26. The scope includes high-end desktop computers with latest generation Intel Core i7 processors, licensed software, laser printers with duplex printing, multimedia projectors, and electric water coolers, among other items. These goods will be delivered to multiple sites within Sindh, including public libraries, cultural centers, and rest houses, ensuring modern facilities for cultural preservation and public service.
The procurement demands bidders with proven experience, sound financial standing, and valid registrations including NTN, STRN, and Sindh Sales Tax. Bidders must submit a comprehensive company profile, audited financial statements for the last three years, and demonstrate at least ten years of relevant experience with successful completion of similar contracts. The tender follows the Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (amended), under Rule 46(1) Single Stage One Envelope Procedure, ensuring transparency and fairness.
Bidders should be PEC registered and maintain active FBR ATL status for 2025-26. Compliance with tax returns and financial turnover requirements is mandatory. The tender fee is Rs. 3,000 non-refundable, and a bid security of 5% of the total bid value is required. All bids must be inclusive of taxes, transportation, installation, and fixing charges. The submission deadline is strictly on 03rd April 2026 at 11:30 AM, with bid opening at 12:30 PM on the same day at the office behind Rumi Graveyard, Near Grid Station, Northern By-Pass, Karachi.
