Repair and Renovation Works with Electro Medical Equipment Provision at SKBZ Hospital and CMH Muzaffarabad

The Public Works Department (PWD) Buildings Division Muzaffarabad invites sealed bids from eligible contractors licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council for the fiscal year 2026-27 and endorsed by PWD AJK. This tender covers repair and renovation works at SKBZ Hospital and Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Muzaffarabad, including the provision of deficient electro medical equipment for cardiac surgery at SKBZ Hospital. Items being procured: - Repair and Renovation of SKBZ Hospital including provision of electro medical equipment for cardiac surgery - Removing and refixing of roof tiles (Khaprial) including roof treatment (waterproofing) at CMH Muzaffarabad - Renovation of washrooms and repair/replacement of sewerage line at CMH Muzaffarabad The scope includes civil repair works, waterproofing, sanitary and sewerage system repairs, and supply of specialized electro medical equipment. The works are to be completed within 365 days. Bidders must be registered with the relevant PEC category C-5 and above and have relevant specialization codes. Bid security amounts are Rs. 1,230,000 and Rs. 854,000 respectively for the two main works. Bidders must obtain username and login credentials from the IT section of the Chief Engineer Building office in DHQ Muzaffarabad and may receive training on the e-bidding procedure. Bidding documents and instructions are available on the e-procurement portal https://cwdtenders.ajk.gov.pk/. Bid security must be deposited in designated bank accounts before submission, and scanned receipts uploaded online. Hard copies of bids must be submitted within 48 hours of e-bid submission. The bidding will be conducted on a percentage basis above or below the market and MRS rates. Contractors quoting bids more than 10% below the estimated cost must submit additional security as per the bidding data. The bid opening will be online on October 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with comparative statements visible to bidders. The department reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to verify all submitted information. False or misleading information will lead to disqualification.
