Tender Description
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) Faisalabad is procuring repair and replacement works for the mosaic floor in the courtyard area of the mosque at its Headquarters (T) Faisalabad. This procurement involves civil works including providing, laying, fixing, aligning, and finishing premium quality porcelain/homogenous floor tiles with approved bonding materials. The scope also includes dismantling and removal of existing floor finishes, preparation of sub-grade, floor dressing, leveling with cement sand mortar, slope correction, compaction, grouting, and joint treatment. All works must be completed to the satisfaction of the site engineer and supervisor.
The contract requires the contractor to manage all labor, materials, tools, machinery, and transportation. The work must be completed within 30 days from the receipt of the work order. Earnest Money of 2% of the tendered amount is required, and a performance bond equal to 10% of the contract amount is mandatory for contracts exceeding Rs. 600,000. The maintenance period is six months after completion, during which the contractor must rectify any defects.
Eligible bidders should have relevant PEC registration for civil works and must be registered with FBR and ATL. Experience in similar floor repair and replacement projects is essential. The tender validity period is 90 days, and the bid must include a technical and financial proposal. The submission deadline is seven days after the publish date, with bids to be submitted at the SNGPL office in Faisalabad.
A practical tip for bidders is to conduct a thorough site visit before submission to understand site conditions and prepare accurate rates. Ensure all samples for color, design, and quality are approved by the site engineer to avoid delays. Proper documentation of Earnest Money and compliance with SNGPL’s HSE requirements will strengthen the bid.
