Tender Description
Cantonment Board Walton Lahore is procuring repair services for Tractor MF-375 including complete engine overhauling and replacement of various parts. The scope covers repairing the overall engine, steering pump, wheel hub, wheel bearing set with seals, wheel rim, air filters, hose pipe set, front grill with light, hub bolt with check nut, fan belt, steering pipe set, tie rod set, water body, jack tee, bolt set, steering jack repair, battery with fitting, and complete wiring repair. This procurement is specifically for two tractors requiring comprehensive mechanical repair and parts replacement.
Eligible bidders should be authorized firms or general order suppliers with relevant PEC categories for mechanical works and must be registered with FBR and ATL. Experience in similar tractor repair and engine overhauling projects is essential. The bid security of 2% of the estimated cost must be submitted as a call deposit in the name of Cantonment Executive Officer Walton. Bids must be submitted electronically via the e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System before the deadline of 12:00 pm on the closing date. The financial bid will be opened the same day at 12:30 pm.
The tender requires compliance with all terms and conditions including a minimum validity of 90 days for quoted prices. Delivery and completion of repair work must be within 30 working days after issuance of the supply/work order. Failure to deliver on time will invoke penalties. The Cantonment Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per PPRA rules. Interested firms are advised to visit the WCB workshop to inspect the tractors and understand the scope before bidding.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure the bid security is submitted in original form by courier before the closing date to avoid disqualification. Also, prepare a detailed technical bid addressing all repair items listed to demonstrate capability and compliance with the tender requirements.
