Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the maintenance and rehabilitation of a 5.0 km road stretch from Shalmani Village to Village Hakim Khoso to Garwari and Village Dhabi, including masonry structure at Mile 0/0-3/1, located in Jamshoro, Sindh. The Provincial Highway Division Jamshoro, Government of Sindh, is overseeing this project under the category of Road & Infrastructure Works & Materials.
The scope includes excavation, scarifying existing road surface, laying brick edging, preparing base course with stone metal, surface dressing with bitumen, and laying a 1½ inch thick asphalt concrete wearing course. The project also covers installation of thermoplastic pavement markings, village boards, caution boards, and kilometer posts. The engineering challenge lies in ensuring proper compaction, drainage, and durability of the road surface in the local terrain and climatic conditions of Jamshoro.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category and have valid registration with FBR and SRB.
