Laying of Road Marking, Zebra Crossing and Fixing of Safety Road Stud CAT eye at Main Student Road to Hostel Facilitation Road

NED University of Engineering & Technology Karachi is procuring specialized road marking and safety enhancement works at its Main Student Road to Hostel Facilitation Road. This project involves laying of road markings, zebra crossings, and fixing of safety road studs known as CAT eyes to improve pedestrian safety and traffic management on campus roads. The technical scope includes precise application of road marking materials, installation of zebra crossings according to approved standards, and secure fixing of CAT eye safety studs. The work is to be executed on site at the university premises in Karachi, Sindh. The contract duration is one month from commencement with a 12-month maintenance period. Liquidated damages apply for delays beyond the completion date. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and have valid FBR and Sindh Revenue Board registrations. Firms should demonstrate at least three years of relevant experience with an average annual turnover of no less than PKR 2 million over the last three financial years. Bidders must not be blacklisted and should provide an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper confirming no litigation or corrupt practices. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS only; manual submissions will be rejected. The original bid security pay order must reach the Deputy Director Procurement office before the bid opening date.
