Tender Document
Tender Description
Bolan Mining Enterprises (BME) in Quetta, Balochistan, is procuring the sale of 20,000 tons of barite ore with a density of 4.20 g/cm³ on an ex-works basis from Khuzdar. This procurement is specifically for local parties with relevant business experience in barite ore. The tender document can be obtained by submitting a tender fee of PKR 5,000 through Pay Order or Cash payment. The technical scope involves the sale and delivery of barite ore as per the specifications mentioned in the tender documents.
Interested bidders must be registered as per Pakistani law and should have relevant experience in handling such mineral sales. The department requires earnest money in the form of 2% of the bid value along with the proposal. The tender documents are available for collection from April 17, 2026, to May 1, 2026, during working hours (8:30 to 17:15 PST) at BME House, 3 & 8 - B Model Town, Quetta. The bid closing date and time is May 4, 2026, at 15:00 hours, with bid opening at 15:30 hours on the same day.
Bidders should ensure that the tender number and item details are clearly mentioned on the bid submission envelope. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) as 2% of the bid value and attach it with the technical bid to avoid disqualification. Timely submission before the deadline at the specified address is crucial to participate in this procurement.
