Tender Description
Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) Karachi invites bids for a Service Level Agreement (SLA) for Non-IT components of its Data Center located at 2nd Floor Shaheen Complex, M.R. Kayani Road, Karachi. The procurement is for a one-year contract covering maintenance, warranty, and operational support of environmental and electrical non-IT equipment along with resident technicians. Items being procured:
- Lot#1: Maintenance and Warranty of Non-IT Equipment (Environmental) including 1 Resident Environmental Technician
- Lot#2: Maintenance and Warranty of Non-IT Equipment (Electrical) including 2 Resident Electrical Technicians
The environmental equipment includes split type air conditioners, air purification systems, precision air-conditioning units, and fire detection and suppression systems. Electrical components include rack accessories, power distribution units, UPS systems of various capacities, low voltage switchgear and distribution boards, and backup power generators (CAT and Perkins 100 KVA). The scope includes preventive maintenance, repair, replacement of parts, and 24x7 support with quarterly preventive maintenance visits. The resident technicians will operate on 48 hours per week roster with responsibilities for inspection, monitoring, and coordination of repairs.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be EPAD registered vendors with active FBR and SRB tax status, a minimum of 7 years experience in data center or related environmental/electrical maintenance, average annual turnover of Rs. 150 million for the last three financial years, and experience providing SLA services to at least two data centers of similar or larger size. Technical resources must be available at Karachi support center. A bid security of Rs 1,874,170 is mandatory.
Key dates include bid availability from 24th July 2026, a pre-bid meeting on 5th August 2026 at 3:30 pm, and bid submission deadline on 18th August 2026 at 3:00 pm via EPAD portal. Bids will be opened the same day at 3:30 pm. Submission must be online through EPAD. The contract duration is one year with possible extensions.
Bidders should ensure compliance with all technical and financial requirements, submit complete documentation including affidavits, NTN registration, audited financial statements, and technical certifications. The bid price must be firm and inclusive of all taxes. The successful bidder will sign an SLA and NDA with SRB and provide performance bank guarantee within 14 days of award.
A practical tip for bidders: Carefully review the detailed list of equipment and scope of work in Section IV of the RFP to ensure full compliance and accurate pricing. Early submission of bid security and complete eligibility documents on EPAD will avoid disqualification. Attend the pre-bid meeting to clarify any technical or procedural queries to strengthen your proposal.
