Tender Description
The Directorate of Procurement (Navy) invites sealed bids for the supply of Signal Distress Day & Night MK-1. This procurement is being managed through the Directorate of Procurement (Navy), located in Rawalpindi, and is open to eligible suppliers who meet the technical and financial requirements outlined in the tender documents.
Items being procured:
- Signal Distress Day & Night MK-1 (exact quantity not specified in the notice)
Bidders are required to submit their proposals in three sealed envelopes: Technical Offer (in duplicate), Earnest Money, and Commercial Offer. The technical offer must include a comprehensive set of documents such as Bank Challan of Rs. 200 for DGDP registered firms or Rs. 300 for others, DP-1 and DP-2 Forms of IT with compliance remarks, Annexes A, B, and C of IT, DP-3 Form of IT, Manufacturer Authorization Letter and Price List (where applicable), DRAP registration letter (for medical items), DGDP Registration Letter, and Tax Filling Proof. The commercial offer should include the firm's commercial offer, principal invoice, and duly filled DP-2 Form of IT.
Earnest Money is mandatory and must be submitted as a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in favor of CMA (DP), Rawalpindi. The rate of earnest money varies: 2% of the quoted value for registered firms (max Rs. 0.5 million), 3% for registered but un-indexed firms (max Rs. 0.75 million), and 5% for unregistered firms (max Rs. 1 million).
Eligibility requires firms to be registered with PPRA, DGDP, and FBR/ATL, and to provide all supporting documents as per the checklist. Offers must reach the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) by the deadline. Late submissions will not be entertained. Tenders will be opened as per the schedule, and only legitimate representatives may attend the opening.
A practical tip: Ensure all forms (DP-1, DP-2, DP-3) are fully filled, signed, and stamped, and that the Earnest Money is packed in a separate envelope to avoid rejection due to non-compliance with submission protocols.
