Construction of 200 Solar Based Irrigation Tubewells in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Peshawar Irrigation Department under the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is procuring the construction of 200 solar based irrigation tubewells across various districts including Peshawar, Charsadda, and Nowshera. This project is part of ADP No. 2081 / 250220 for the fiscal year 2025-26. The scope involves drilling and civil works for solar irrigation tubewells at multiple union councils such as Do Bandi, Umarzai, Bakhtaran, Shiekhabad, Palosa, Prang, and others. Each site requires comprehensive construction activities including installation of solar panels and irrigation infrastructure. Eligible contractors must possess relevant PEC codes CE-04, CE-09, and CE-10, and be registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority. Firms should have proven experience in similar irrigation and civil works projects. Earnest Money amounting to 2% of the estimated cost must be submitted as a call deposit along with the bid. The procurement follows the single stage single envelope electronic bidding system (E-PAD). The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 2026-04-22 at 12:00 PM at the office of the Executive Engineer, Tubewells Irrigation Division Peshawar. The final submission deadline is 2026-04-30 at 2:00 PM, with bid opening at 2:30 PM on the same day. Bidders should ensure all documents including bid security and additional security are submitted before the deadline to avoid disqualification or blacklisting. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the call deposit as bid security in the name of the Executive Engineer, Tubewells Irrigation Division Peshawar, as bank cheques or guarantees are not acceptable. Timely submission through the E-PAD system and compliance with all KPPRA notifications will enhance chances of success.
