Tender Description
The Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL) Procurement department in Karachi invites bids for the supply and installation of a Solar Power System for CFC Malir. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and follows the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method under the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. The tender requires bidders to submit sealed bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 by the deadline of Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 11:30 AM.

- 120 Solar Panels
- 4 Three Phase Hybrid Inverters (15-16KW)
- 12 Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFeP04) Maintenance Free Batteries (51.2V 100AH)
- 1 AC Distribution Box 16 SWG with complete internal wiring & components
- 1 Distribution Box 16 SWG with complete internal wiring & components
- 1 Pressure Washer with telescopic brush and wiper for cleaning of solar panels
- 1 Installation, interconnection, testing & commissioning of the complete hybrid solar power system
- 1 Net Metering Application
- 1 Supply of roof-top elevated solar panel structure material with walkway and ladder
- 1 Supply, material of individual AC, DC & lightning arrestor earthing with ESE lightning arrestor
The technical scope includes supply, installation, interconnection, testing, and commissioning of a hybrid solar power system at the CFC Malir site. The materials and components must comply with the specifications detailed in the tender documents. Delivery and installation timelines are 90 days for supply and 40 days for installation and commissioning after issuance of the Letter to Proceed (LTP).
Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR (NTN and GSTN) and possess the required PEC eligibility. A bid security of Rs. 225,000 is mandatory and must be submitted as a single pay order covering all items, not item-wise. Bidders must upload all tender documents duly signed and stamped to avoid rejection. Joint ventures or consortiums are not allowed.
