Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors in Karachi to supply and install advanced solar power systems for government facilities under the Sindh Energy Department. The project involves deploying photovoltaic panels, inverters, and battery storage units designed to optimize energy efficiency and reduce reliance on conventional power sources.
The installation sites are strategically located across Karachi, requiring careful planning to address urban infrastructure challenges and ensure seamless integration with existing electrical grids. Contractors must demonstrate expertise in handling high-quality solar materials and comply with local safety and environmental standards.
Bidders should hold a valid PEC Category C-4 or above license and be registered with the FBR with an active ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. It is advisable to prepare the Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as Earnest Money in line with the tender requirements and ensure all technical and financial documents are complete to avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline is set for the 24th of June 2024, with bid opening scheduled at 10:00 AM on the same day. All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Sindh Energy Department office located at Karachi Secretariat, Block B, 3rd Floor.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender advertisement for specific stamp duty and bid security instructions, as these are commonly overlooked and can lead to bid rejection. Also, ensure timely submission to avoid last-minute complications.
