Procurement of Solar Powered Reverse Osmosis Plant for PARC-Southern Zone Agricultural Research Center Karachi

The Pakistan Agricultural Research Council Southern Zone Agricultural Research Center (PARC-SARC) Karachi is procuring a Solar Powered Reverse Osmosis Plant under the ALP Project (CS-1123) titled Evaluation of Promising Indigenous and Exotic Horticultural Plants and Their Propagation in the Coastal Areas of Sindh. This procurement is specifically for the Institute of Plant Introduction at PARC-SARC Karachi. The plant includes a 250 liters per hour Reverse Osmosis system designed for 3000 ppm water, coupled with an 8.5 KW single phase solar power system. The technical scope covers a comprehensive list of components such as centrifugal feed pump, multimedia filter, chemical dosing pump, dosing and CIP tanks, jumbo cartridge filtration, high pressure pump, reverse osmosis housing and membrane elements, throat valve, storage tanks, solar panels, mounting frames, solar inverter, variable frequency drives, and wiring. The installation, commissioning, testing, and on-site training are also part of the contract, to be completed at the Institute of Plant Introduction, Saleh Muhammad Goth, Gaddap Town Karachi. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments (Active Taxpayers List) and PPRA E-PADS portal. Firms should have relevant experience and provide necessary documentation including NTN, GST certificates, firm profile, and an affidavit confirming no blacklisting or litigation. A bid security of Rs. 110,000 in the form of CDR, bank draft, or pay order is mandatory. The bids will be submitted electronically via the E-PADS portal in a single stage two envelope procedure, with technical and financial bids submitted separately. The submission deadline is 11:00 AM on Monday, 04 May 2026, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day at the D.G Office, PARC-SARC Karachi. The quoted prices must include GST and remain valid until 30 June 2026. Partial payments are not allowed, and delays in delivery will incur penalties. The successful bidder will bear all costs related to transportation, installation, and training.
