Tender Description

The University of Science & Technology Bannu is procuring solarization works for multiple campus buildings including the Academic Block (32KW), Girls Students Hostel (24KW), Department of English (18KW), and the Main Entrance Gate (6KW) under the HEDP Project. This tender is specifically for suppliers and contractors capable of delivering solar power systems at the university's IC&IT Campus in Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The scope includes supply, installation, and commissioning of solar power equipment to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability on campus. Interested bidders must be well-established firms, authorized dealers, or contractors registered with sales tax, income tax, and KPPRA, holding active taxpayer status. Experience in solarization projects and relevant PEC categories will be advantageous. The procurement follows a single stage two envelope procedure with technical and financial bids submitted separately. The last date for bid submission is 29/06/2026 by 10:00 am, with technical bids opening at 10:30 am the same day in the conference room of the main campus. Earnest money of 2% of the quoted cost must be submitted as a CDR along with the bid. Bids must remain valid for 90 days from the opening date. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure the earnest money CDR and the pay order for the bidding documents are correctly addressed to the Treasurer and submitted on time to avoid disqualification.
