Tender Description
Highways Division, Layyah invites bids for the special repair of a metalled road in Layyah district. This procurement is being conducted through the Punjab PPRA E-Tendering System, and only firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category are eligible to participate. The project involves the following work:
- Special repair of metalled road from Veterinary Hospital Basti Rasheed Abad to BHU Basti Gishkori IC Bridge, with a total length of 1.22 KM
The technical scope includes mechanized TST/DST surfacing and the recovery of old material, which will be adjusted manually. The completion period for the project is 06 months from the date of commencement. All contractors must submit their bids electronically via the Punjab e-Procurement portal. Manual or physical bid submissions will not be accepted. Bid security is required at 2 percent of the estimated cost, to be deposited only through digital online payment via the Punjab e-Procurement System. Performance guarantee at 5 percent of the contract amount must be provided by the successful bidder within 15 days of acceptance of the bid.
Bids will be opened at the office of Commissioner DG Khan Division on 16.09.2026 at 01:00 PM. All bids will be retrieved and evaluated online, and the successful bidder will be announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee. Contractors must ensure that all required documents, including CDR/receipt and PEC certificate, are uploaded with their bids. Failure to comply with documentation requirements may result in disqualification. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per Clause 35 of PPRA Rules.
