Tender Description
The Directorate of Procurement (Navy) in Rawalpindi is inviting bids for the stitching of Dress No. 1 and 2 specifically tailored for Chief Petty Officers (CPOs) and Petty Officers (POs). This procurement is focused on providing high-quality uniform tailoring services to meet the specific requirements of the Pakistan Navy personnel stationed in Rawalpindi.
The technical scope includes the precise stitching of two types of dresses, Dress No. 1 and Dress No. 2, for naval officers. The tender requires submission of detailed technical offers including compliance documents, manufacturer authorization letters where applicable, and other relevant certifications. The tender process mandates submission of earnest money separately and commercial offers in sealed envelopes as per the instructions.
Eligible bidders should be registered with the Directorate General Defence Purchase (DGDP) and possess the necessary technical and financial capabilities. Firms must submit a bank challan as proof of registration fees and comply with all tender conditions including tax and registration documentation. Experience in similar government or defense contracts will be advantageous.
The tender opening date is set for 11th June 2026, with the closing date falling seven days later on 18th June 2026. Bidders must ensure timely submission of their proposals to the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) office located near SNIDS Centre, Naval Residential Complex, Rawalpindi. Late submissions will not be entertained.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the technical bid with all required forms (DP-1, DP-2, DP-3) and ensure the earnest money is submitted in a separate sealed envelope to avoid disqualification. Attention to detail in compliance with tender instructions will improve chances of success in this competitive procurement.
