Tender Description
The Directorate of Procurement (Navy) based in Rawalpindi is inviting bids for the stitching of Dress No. 7 & 7A for personnel ranked Leading and Below. This procurement is specifically for the Pakistan Navy and involves tailoring services to produce official dress uniforms.
The technical scope requires bidders to provide high-quality stitching services adhering to the specifications outlined by the Navy. The tender documents specify submission of technical offers including compliance forms, manufacturer authorization letters where applicable, and registration proofs such as DGDP and DRAP letters if relevant. The tender also requires earnest money submission in a separate sealed envelope and a commercial offer with detailed pricing.
Eligible bidders should be registered with DGDP and possess requisite technical and financial capabilities. Firms must be registered with FBR and ATL and provide valid tax and registration documents. Experience in similar government or defense contracts will be advantageous. The tender opening date is set for 11th June 2026, and submissions must be delivered to the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) office near SNIDS Centre, Naval Residential Complex, Bahria Gate, Rawalpindi.
A key tip for bidders is to ensure strict compliance with the tender instructions, especially regarding the submission of separate sealed envelopes for technical, earnest money, and commercial offers. Proper marking and timely submission before the deadline are critical to avoid disqualification. Also, ensure all required forms such as DP-1, DP-2, and DP-3 are duly filled and signed to meet tender requirements.
This tender offers a valuable opportunity for qualified tailoring firms to engage with a prestigious defense department and secure a contract for the current financial year. Attention to detail and adherence to procurement rules will be essential for success.
