Tender Description
The Directorate of Procurement (Navy), located near SNIDS Centre, Naval Residential Complex, Rawalpindi, is inviting bids for the stitching of Dress No. 7 and 7A specifically tailored for Chief Petty Officers (CPOs) and Petty Officers (POs). This procurement is a specialized service focusing on uniform tailoring to meet the exact specifications required by the Pakistan Navy.
The technical scope involves precise stitching and tailoring of military dress uniforms, ensuring compliance with the detailed specifications provided by the Navy. Bidders must submit their proposals in sealed envelopes containing technical and commercial offers separately, including all required documentation such as bank challans, DP forms, manufacturer authorization letters, and tax proofs. The tender emphasizes strict adherence to quality and compliance standards, with a clear process for technical and commercial evaluation.
Eligible bidders should be registered with the Directorate General Defence Purchase (DGDP) and possess the necessary technical and financial capabilities. Firms must be registered with FBR and ATL, and experience in similar defense-related contracts will be advantageous. The tender requires earnest money submission and compliance with DGDP registration and security clearance protocols.
The tender was published on 11th June 2026, with the closing date set for 18th June 2026. All bids must reach the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) office through Bahria Gate, Rawalpindi, by the specified deadline. Late submissions will not be entertained. Interested firms should carefully prepare their technical and commercial bids, ensuring all forms and annexes are duly filled and signed.
A practical tip for bidders is to meticulously follow the tender instructions regarding the submission of separate envelopes for technical and commercial offers. Marking and sealing these envelopes correctly will prevent disqualification. Additionally, ensure the earnest money is submitted in a separate envelope as specified, as failure to comply may lead to rejection of the bid.
