Supply of 55X2V Dry Lead Acid Batteries for 2.6 MW Machai Hydropower Station

The Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO) is procuring 55X2V dry lead acid batteries specifically for the DC power supply bank of the 2.6 MW Machai Hydropower Station located in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This procurement is critical for ensuring reliable power backup and operational stability at the hydropower site. The technical scope involves the supply of high-quality lead acid batteries suitable for industrial power applications. The delivery period is within 14 days after the work order issuance, emphasizing the need for prompt supply and installation. Bidders must be registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) and the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) with active status at the time of bid submission. Additionally, possession of an active Sales Tax Registration Number (STRN) with FBR is mandatory. The tender follows a Single Stage, One Envelope procedure with bids to be submitted through the E-PAK Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) by 11:00 AM on May 4, 2026. The bid opening will occur the same day at 11:30 AM in the Main Committee Room at PEDO House, Sector 38/B-2, Phase V, Hayatabad, Peshawar. Earnest money is set at 2% of the total bid price, to be submitted as a bank draft or CDR in favor of CEO, PEDO, valid for 28 days beyond the bid validity date.
