Tender Description
The Directorate General Procurement (Army) located near 502 Central Base Workshop EME, Main Adyala Road Rawalpindi, invites sealed tenders from reputed firms possessing NTN certificates for the supply of specific items. The procurement will be conducted under PPRA rules, and firms are advised to avoid quoting exorbitant rates.
Items being procured:
- Ammo Conveyor Belt (38 Nos)
- Generator Set Diesel Engine 5 KVA Single Phase (38 Nos)
- Tractor Towing for Conveyor Belt (9 Nos)
The delivery period for all items is 12 months. Tender documents and specifications can be obtained from DGP (Army) upon submission of required documents including photocopies of registration certificates issued by Directorate General Defense Purchase (DGDP), Sales Tax Department, NTN certificate, proof of go down, financial capability undertaking, bank statement, CNIC of MD, and certificates confirming the firm is not blacklisted. Firms must also provide details of experience with government or semi-government organizations and details of movable and immovable property/assets. Non-manufacturing firms or agents must provide verifiable certificates of original manufacturer or agency agreements. Registered firms must deposit Rs 2000/- as challan form fee into Government Treasury in favor of CMA (DP) Rawalpindi.
All firms, whether registered or unregistered, must provide a 5% bid security (up to Rs 1.000 million) along with their offer. The validity of the offer is 120 days from the date of opening the commercial offer. A performance bank guarantee of 10% of the contract value is required within 30 days of contract signing. Detailed terms and conditions are available in the tender documents. The tender will be opened in the Tender Room of DGP (Army) in the presence of firm representatives.
Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their bids ensuring all required documents and bid security are included to avoid disqualification. Timely submission by the deadline is critical to participate in this procurement.
