Tender Description
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Islamabad invites sealed bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 for the supply and delivery of IT equipment under contract reference P170520. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to equip the Ministry with brand-new, genuine IT hardware meeting specified technical standards.
Items being procured:
- Desktop Tower Computer with LED Monitor (107 sets), each set including one desktop computer with Intel Core i5 14th generation processor, 8GB DDR5 RAM, 512GB SSD storage, business-grade motherboard, integrated graphics, 24-inch Full HD LED monitor, wired keyboard and mouse, power cables and accessories, with minimum three-year onsite warranty.
- USB Flash Drive 64GB HP or equivalent (107 units), USB 3.2 Gen 1 or higher, genuine new product with manufacturer warranty.
- Monochrome Multifunction Laser Printer (53 units) with printing, copying, scanning, faxing capabilities, print speed up to 40 ppm, automatic duplex, 3-year onsite warranty, and full compatibility with Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS.
The technical scope includes delivery, unpacking, assembly, connection, and testing of equipment at the Ministry's premises or other specified locations at no extra cost. The Ministry reserves the right to inspect and verify the conformity, functionality, and authenticity of all supplied goods. Non-conforming or counterfeit items will be rejected and must be replaced promptly by the supplier.
Eligible bidders must have relevant experience with at least four federal government ministries, valid FBR registration, operational repair facilities, and a minimum annual turnover of PKR 20 million for FY 2025-26. Bidders must submit bids electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 11:30 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Bid security in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, or Bank Guarantee must be submitted physically before the deadline at Constitution Avenue, Sector G-5, Islamabad.
The evaluation will follow Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) criteria. Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents available on EPADS and ensure compliance with all technical and eligibility requirements. Registration on EPADS v2.0 is mandatory for participation.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your bid includes all required documents and bid security in the prescribed format and submit your bid well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues on the EPADS platform.
This procurement offers a valuable opportunity for qualified suppliers to provide high-quality IT equipment to a key federal ministry in Islamabad.
