Bidders must be registered firms or unregistered but willing to pay the required tender fees of Rs 500 per quotation via bank draft, pay order, cross cheque, or online transfer. Non-registered firms must also provide a bank guarantee of 5% of the purchase order value valid for six months. To avoid the bank guarantee, firms are encouraged to register with HQ COMLOG. The delivery time for locally available items is 15 days, while imported items require 45 days. Lab testing charges, if any, will be borne by the firm.
Interested suppliers should have valid FBR registration and be capable of meeting the technical specifications outlined. The tender opening date is 18-06-2026, and submissions should be made to the Local Purchase Division, Pakistan Navy Karachi. Contact details include phone numbers 021-48508524 and 48508828, and emails clp@paknavy.gov.pk or localpurchasedivision@gmail.com.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely payment of tender fees and attach proof of online deposit if applicable. This will prevent disqualification on technical grounds. Also, registering with HQ COMLOG can save the cost and hassle of providing a bank guarantee. Careful adherence to submission deadlines and complete documentation will enhance chances of success in this competitive procurement.
