Supply of Engine Oil for Preventive Maintenance of Generators at SBP Head Office Karachi

The SBP Banking Services Corporation (BSC) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of engine oil for preventive maintenance of generators at the SBP Head Office Karachi. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform. The procurement follows the Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Items being procured: - Engine Oil, Heavy-duty multigrade diesel engine oil, SAE 15W-40, API CI-4, CI-4 Plus or higher and ACEA E7 or equivalent, total quantity 2100 Liters (1100 Liters in January 2027 and 1000 Liters in May 2027) The engine oil must meet the specified technical standards suitable for diesel generator engines. Bidders must be Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), authorized dealers, or distribution partners with valid certificates for the current year. Experience of at least two works of Rs. 1.5 million or above related to engine oil supply in the last five years is required. Financial capability must be demonstrated with annual sales or bank credit line as specified. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 12:00 PM. The technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 12:30 PM. Hard copies of bid security must be submitted physically to the Engineering Department, 1st Floor, SBP Boulton Market Building, M.A Jinnah Road, Saddar, Karachi before the bid submission deadline. Late or manual submissions will not be entertained. Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents available on EPADS and ensure compliance with all eligibility, technical, and financial requirements. Earnest money in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, or Demand Draft is mandatory. The contract includes a Defect Liability Period of 180 days. Payment terms include 95% payment on delivery and 5% after expiry of warranty.
