Supply of Fish Seed Species for Accelerated Action Plan (Fisheries Sector) Karachi

The Government of Sindh through its Program Management Unit (PMU) under the Accelerated Action Plan (AAP) for Reduction of Stunting Malnutrition in Sindh (Fisheries Sector) Karachi invites sealed bids from qualified firms, companies, suppliers, and sole distributors for the supply of fish seed species for the fiscal year 2026-27. This procurement aims to support stocking of fish seed in public water areas across Sindh and demonstration fish ponds/community ponds except Manchar Lake, Jamshoro. Items being procured: - Labeo rohita (Rahu), not less than 4 inches - Cirrhinus mrigala (Morakhi), not less than 4 inches - Catla catla (Thaila), not less than 3 inches - Hypophthalmichthys molitrix (Silver carp), not less than 4 inches - Cyprinus Carpio (Gulfam), not less than 4 inches The scope includes supply of quality fish seed meeting size specifications to be stocked in designated water bodies. Bidders must have valid registration with Income Tax and General Sales Tax (FBR). A security deposit of 5% of the total allocated bid amount is required in the form of Demand Draft, Call Deposit, or Pay Order in favor of the Program Coordinator, AAP (Fisheries Sector), Karachi. The bidding will follow a Single Stage One Envelope procedure where technical and financial proposals are submitted together. Tender documents can be downloaded from the EPADS portal upon payment of a non-refundable fee via Call Deposit or Pay Order. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to reject or cancel any bid as per SPPR rules 2010. Rates quoted must include all applicable government taxes. Supply orders will be issued subject to release of funds by the Finance Department. The supply must be completed within the stipulated schedule. Key dates include issuance from publication date, last issuance on 25-11-2026 during office hours, submission deadline on 26-11-2026 before 12:00 noon, and opening of proposals on 26-11-2026 at 12:30 pm. Submission and opening will take place at the Program Management Unit office located at C-6, Block-F, Gulshan-e-Jamal, Rashid Minhas Road Karachi.
