Tender Description
The Pakistan Ordnance Factories Wah Cantt is procuring advanced IT infrastructure including servers, SAN storage arrays, and firewall security devices. This procurement is specifically for the Wah Cantt facility and involves supply, installation, configuration, and integration of the equipment with existing infrastructure. The technical scope includes 5 units of H3C UniServer R4900 G5 servers or equivalent, 1 unit of Dell ME 4024 SAN storage or equivalent, 1 unit of FortiGate 201F firewall, and 2 units of FortiGate 101F firewalls. All equipment must be new, ISO certified, and supported by OEM with a comprehensive 3-year onsite warranty covering parts, labor, and software upgrades. The SAN storage must support advanced features such as RAID configurations, flash cache, snapshot licenses, and integration with VMware and Microsoft systems. The firewalls require intrusion prevention, antivirus, anti-malware, web filtering, bandwidth management, and clustering capabilities. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Ordnance Factories, possess valid FBR ATL status, and have at least 5 years of relevant business experience. Firms must provide bid security and tender fee as specified, and submit technical and commercial bids in separate sealed envelopes as per PPRA Rule 36(b).
