Tender Description
The National Logistics Corporation is procuring the supply, installation, and net metering of 1 MW solar systems on-grid at its logistics parks located in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. This tender covers multiple sites across major cities, focusing on renewable energy solutions to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
The technical scope includes turnkey solar projects with net metering facilities, requiring experienced firms capable of handling solar systems of 1 MW or above. The project demands high-quality solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, and associated electrical works to ensure seamless integration with the grid. The installations will be carried out at NLC log parks, demanding strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Eligible bidders must be AEDB registered firms with Category C-1 certification for solar on-grid/off-grid and hybrid applications or hold PEC membership Category C2. Firms should demonstrate substantial experience in executing turnkey solar projects of 1 MW or more across Pakistan. Authorized dealers of Tier 1 OEMs with backup support services in Pakistan are also eligible to participate.
Interested bidders should prepare their technical and financial bids in compliance with the two-stage two-envelope bidding procedure under PPRA Rule 36(d). The submission deadline is set firmly, and bids must be delivered to the designated NLC office before the closing date. Earnest Money and CDR requirements must be met as per tender documents.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all technical documentation clearly demonstrates compliance with eligibility criteria and project experience. Properly formatted and complete bids reduce the risk of disqualification. Early submission is advised to avoid last-minute issues. This tender offers a significant opportunity for solar energy firms to contribute to Pakistan's renewable energy goals while expanding their portfolio with a reputable government corporation.
