Supply of Laboratory Chemicals, Glassware, Plant Rootstock, Fencing Material and Laboratory Equipment

The Directorate of Agriculture Research Gilgit-Baltistan invites sealed bids from well-reputed registered firms and authorized dealers for the supply of items for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is specifically for the Gilgit region under the Directorate of Agriculture Research Gilgit-Baltistan. Items being procured: - Laboratory Chemicals, Laboratory Glassware, Plant Rootstock etc. - Fencing Material including Gabion Wire, Angle Irons, Steel Wire etc. - Laboratory equipment and Machinery The scope includes supply of quality laboratory chemicals and glassware, plant rootstock, fencing materials such as gabion wire, angle irons, steel wire, and laboratory equipment and machinery. All items will be inspected by a technical committee to ensure quality and substandard items will be rejected. The quantity of items may be increased or decreased based on budgetary provisions. Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered with a complete setup including their own shop or showroom and to have previous experience supported by documentary evidence. For supply of rootstock, firms or nursery owners must be registered and renewed with the Federal Seed Certification & Registration Department (FSC&RD) as a Fruit Plant Nursery, with valid registration documents attached to the technical proposal. Only firms registered for this specific business and possessing a showroom of similar items with proof of relevant experience are eligible. Tender offers must include a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) of 3% of the total bid value issued by any scheduled bank or KCBL in favor of the Director Agriculture Research Gilgit-Baltistan. The tender rates shall remain valid up to 30th June, 2027. Sealed bids/quotations should reach the office of the undersigned on or before 15th October, 2026 by 11:00 AM. The tender will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM. The procurement will follow a single stage two envelope procedure under PPRA rules, with financial bids opened only for technically qualified bidders.
