Tender Description
Pakistan LNG Limited (PLL), a government-owned entity, invites bids from reputed international suppliers for the supply of one LNG cargo on a Delivered Ex-Ship (DES) basis at Port Qasim, Karachi. This procurement is critical to meet the country’s natural gas requirements and is managed by Pakistan LNG Limited based in Islamabad with delivery at Karachi port.
Items being procured:
- One (01) LNG cargo
- Quantity per cargo: 140,000 m3 (+/-5% tolerance as per bid documents)
The technical scope involves the delivery of liquefied natural gas cargo within the delivery period of 15 to 16 July 2026. The LNG must meet the specifications and tolerances outlined in the bid documents. The delivery is to be made at Port Qasim, Karachi, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and handling standards for LNG.
Eligible bidders should be internationally reputed LNG suppliers with proven experience in LNG cargo delivery. Compliance with FBR registration and ATL listing is expected. Bidders must prepare their bids in accordance with the instructions provided in the bid documents, including submission of Earnest Money or CDR as required.
Bid documents can be obtained in person or via email request to procurement@paklng.com until 10 July 2026. The completed bids must reach the office of Pakistan LNG Limited at 9th Floor, Petroleum House, Ataturk Avenue, G-5/2, Islamabad by 1400 hours PST on 10 July 2026. Bids will be opened the same day at 1430 hours PST as per PPRA rules.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your bid documents strictly follow the technical and commercial requirements stated in the bid documents, and submit your bid well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues with delivery or compliance. Early submission also allows time to address any clarifications from PLL.
