Tender Description
The Nawab Ghous Baksh Memorial Hospital Mastung is inviting bids from eligible suppliers for the supply of medicine and related items. This procurement is specifically for the hospital located in Mastung, Balochistan. The tender requires electronic bid submission only, with no physical bids accepted. Items being procured:
- Medicine & related items (Total Item(s) Count: 463)
The procurement will be conducted under the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014. The bidding firm must have completed 3 assignments of similar nature and complexity with a turnover of at least PKR 70,000,000 in the previous 3 years. The firm must be on the Active Taxpayer List and hold a valid Sales Tax Certificate. Joint ventures are not permissible. The successful bidder must submit one sample of each quoted item within three working days for technical evaluation. Only samples of well-known international brands or their authorized distributors will be accepted; local brands are strictly not acceptable and will be rejected during sample evaluation. All items must have a minimum remaining shelf life or validity of two years. Failure to comply may result in bid rejection. An affidavit of non-litigation on PKR 100 stamp paper attested by a 1st Class Magistrate is required, confirming non-declaration of substandard, spurious, adulterated, or misbranded items within the last two years. The bidder must agree to serve 50% of the contract within one month from the date of supply order. Shelf life requirements are 75% for local products and 70% for imported products from the date of supply.
The procedure of procurement is Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding. Bid security of 2% of the bid value must accompany the bid in the form of a bank guarantee or deposit at call from a scheduled bank.
