Tender Description
The Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Institute of Cardiology in Quetta invites eligible bidders for the supply of medicine and related items. Items being procured:
- Medicine & related items (Total Item(s) Count: 267)
The bidding process mandates a bid security of PKR 350,000 in the form of a bank guarantee or deposit at call from a scheduled bank. The bidder must agree to serve the contract within 60 days from the supply order date and ensure a minimum shelf life of 70% from the date of supply. Samples must be provided with adequate cold chain maintenance where applicable, and all supplied items must be clearly marked with a stamped box and narration 'SMBZAN ICQ NOT FOR SALE'.
Eligibility criteria include four assignments of similar nature and complexity worth PKR 4,500,000 in the last three years, with a turnover of at least PKR 60,000,000 in the subsequent three years. Joint ventures are not permissible. The procurement procedure is Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding.
The last date for electronic bid submission is **27 August 2026 at 10:30 AM** via the supplier dashboard. Tender opening will occur the same day at 11:30 AM on the EPPS system. Tender documents can be obtained and viewed electronically at www.bppra.gob.pk.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration on the BPPRA electronic system and to prepare all bid securities and samples in advance to avoid last-minute submission issues. Strict adherence to the cold chain for samples is crucial to avoid disqualification.
