Tender Description
The National Institute of Child Health Karachi (NICH) invites tenders for the purchase of various medical and surgical items and laboratory tests funded through the Zakat Fund for the fiscal year 2026-27. This procurement is aimed at supporting the healthcare services at NICH by ensuring the availability of essential medicines, disposable items, and diagnostic tests.
Items being procured:
- Purchase of Drugs/Medicines (Daily purchases from Retailer Shop)
- Purchase of Drugs/Medicines in Bulk (Only pharmaceutical companies/manufacturers/authorized sole agents/distributors)
- Laboratory/Diagnosis Tests/Investigation (Only registered and recognized laboratories and diagnostic centres)
The procurement is divided into three categories: Category A for daily purchases from retailers within 5 KM of NICH Karachi, Category B for bulk purchases from authorized manufacturers or distributors, and Category C for laboratory and diagnostic tests from recognized centers. The estimated total cost is Rs. 10.00 Million, with funds allocated from Zakat and non-ADP sources.
Bidders must be registered with the relevant authorities, hold valid drug sale licenses, and meet the technical criteria including valid NTN certificates, GST registration, and experience in supplying to healthcare institutions. Earnest money of 4.5% of the bid value is required. The tender will be conducted under a single stage one envelope procedure.
